Handcrafted, small-batch jams from local fruits.
1/6

When I moved to Belmont, California, over 30 years ago, I was amazed by the flavor and abundance of sun-ripened fruit from local trees. We had a backyard plum tree that was loaded with fruit each year, so I started making jam from the fruit of that tree and neighbors generously shared their excess fruits over summer and winter seasons.
Since then, crafting unique and distinctive flavor combinations of jams and marmalades in small batches has become my creative outlet. I hope you enjoy these original creations as much as I enjoy making them!

This winter the local citrus trees are loaded!! I went crazy making marmalades and it was a creative bonanza. These marmalades are made from local citrus trees (Meyer lemon, oranges of various types, grapefruit, tangelo, lime) with some variations using other fruits. All are made with cane sugar and pectin. Please order by email to mrsmorgan@momsjams.com.

Traditional orange marmalade - fresh orange juice with zest, with some Grand Marnier liqueur added at the end of the cooking process. The alcohol evaporates during cooking, leaving a nice flavor enhancement.
Fresh orange juice with strawberries in a marmalade with Amaretto liqueur added at the end of the cooking process. The alcohol evaporates during cooking, leaving a nice flavor enhancement.

Fresh tangelos from a tree in Redwood City give this marmalade a wonderful flavor slightly different than orange marmalade.
Fresh orange juice and zest, sugar and pectin, with a bit of macadamia nut liqueur at the end for a unique finish. (Remember, the alcohol evaporates during cooking, so there is no alcohol in the product.)
By popular request, this is an orange marmalade made with Meyer lemon, and red chilis. You'll notice the 'heat' but it's not mucho caliente.
Meyer lemon juice, raspberries with almost a jelly clarity.
Fresh orange juice, fresh cranberries, non-sulfite organic Syrah wine, orange zest and pulp, cinnamon stick, lime slices.
Fresh orange juice and zest, fresh pineapple.
NOTE: This is runny, so it's best used in yogurt or as an ice cream topping.
